Gea’s Point of View
When I first met Pandu in October 2022, I never imagined how deeply he would become part of my life. At that time I was still living in Palembang, and our chats were nothing more than light conversations something simple, something warm, but never something I thought too deeply about. Then on December 12th, fate let our paths cross in Depok. I was home visiting my parents, and he invited me out to Bajawa. It felt casual, but somehow meaningful. After that meeting, our communication went back to the way it was, and by December 20th I returned to Palembang, thinking life would continue as usual.
But by the end of that year, everything shifted. We started talking more, sharing thoughts, worries, and small pieces of our daily lives. He began relying on me emotionally, and without realizing it, I started relying on him too. When he finally dared to video call me on December 1st, 2023, something inside me changed. Our conversations became more intimate, more genuine, more like two souls slowly reaching toward each other. Even when I went to Makkah afterward, he remained on my mind. I prayed for my future partner, not knowing that perhaps God had already placed him on my path.
By January 2023, he surprised me in ways I never expected. He asked half joking, half testing what proof of seriousness I wanted. I said he should come to Palembang. I didn’t think he remembered, but on January 30th, he sent me a flight ticket. And on February 2nd, he arrived. From that moment on, everything grew naturally. He never officially asked me to be his girlfriend he simply said he loved me, and somehow, we just belonged to each other. Our journey wasn’t always perfect. We fought, we drifted apart, sometimes for weeks. But love always brought us back. And as the years passed through work, shared dreams, and even building a small business together the foundation of our love only grew stronger. Now, standing close to our engagement and wedding day, I can only pray that Allah continues to protect our bond and guide us toward a blessed future together.
Pandu’s Point of View
I still remember October 2022 clearly meeting Gea, talking to her casually, never imagining she would one day become the woman I want to spend my entire life with. At first, everything felt simple: casual chats, small jokes, nothing too intense. But after we met in Depok on December 12th, something inside me shifted. I found myself thinking about her more often. When she went back to Palembang, our conversations slowly grew deeper, warmer. By the end of December, she became the person I wanted to talk to at the end of every day.
As time passed, I realized how much I needed her presence even if it was just through a screen. I still remember the day I gathered the courage to video call her for the first time on December 1st, 2023. After that, everything changed. She became my comfort, my place to confide, my quiet strength. When she went to Makkah, I prayed for Allah to guide me to the right partner. I didn’t say it out loud, but deep down, I hoped that partner would be her. And when she told me to come to Palembang if I was serious, I kept that in my heart. On January 30th, I sent her my ticket without hesitation, without fear. I just knew I needed to be there.
From that moment, our bond grew even stronger. We became inseparable, even without formal labels. Our relationship wasn’t perfect sometimes we fought hard, sometimes we went silent for weeks. But no matter how far we drifted, my heart always returned to her. In 2024, we built dreams together, opened a small business, and she started her new job. And in early 2025, I told her my decision: I wanted to marry her. Meeting her parents on April 19th was the final confirmation this was the woman I wanted as my wife. Now, as we prepare for our engagement on November 29th and our wedding on December 27th, I feel nothing but gratitude. Gratitude for the journey, the challenges, and the love that brought us here. I pray that our future together will be filled with blessings, patience, and endless affection.
