Distance is not for the fearful, it’s for the bold. It’s for those who are willing to spend time alone in exchange for a little time with people they love. It’s for those who know good things worth to wait, even the waiting is pain
"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate"

We met through a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel in May 2019. I learned she was in another country almost halfway around the world. I wasn’t about to let distance ruin this opportunity to potentially find the love of my life.
We finally decided to meet up in December 2019, in Japan. The trip was wonderful and it felt great sharing a close bond with someone we felt comfortable with each other right away.
We officially started dating on December 5th 2019. Then COVID-19 made traveling and meeting up very challenging. We continued to talk via WhatsApp and FaceTime daily. Finally, we met up in August of 2021 in Turkey and were able to spend our birthdays together.
The next destination we traveled to was Switzerland. During a walk near Interlaken in the valley between Lauterbrunnen and Stechelberg, I proposed to Aurelia on April 8th 2022. Aurelia said : “YESSS!!!”.
The most recent trip we went to France and Germany and again had a wonderful journey together. In between all these trips we chat and/or video chat everyday since we began talking back in 2019. We are lucky to have found each other in this huge world just over 10000 miles or 16100 kilometers apart.
