OUR LOVE STORY
Ilham and I attended the same University and enrolled in the same major. We only knew each other back then, but never had a personal talk. After graduating, we both worked in Jakarta. Four years later, at the end of 2022, he replied one of my instastories. That was where the conversation started. We talked and joked with each other and finally moved to WhatsApp after talking for several weeks.
Our first meeting was in December 2022. We met in Bakmi Sedjuk Senayan. We talked about a lot of things. Talking about our college days, work, family, and friends. We had such a nice talk. Going on like that for about three months, we got to know each other better. We were drawn to each other like a bee and the flower. And it still is.
Fast forward to 2023, we decided to step up the relationship. We aligned our future plans and point of view. In April 2023, Ilham visited my family in Bengkulu. Gathering his courage, he finally proposed me, unofficially, in June 2023 by asking my beloved father. Due to distance and limited time, a large family meeting between his family and mine was held before the day of the proposal event in Bengkulu. Finally, he officially proposed me in December 2023. And here we are now! Our wedding will be held in April 20th and 21st, 2024. It is in the month of shawwal!
